With over a decade of experience, Alex decided it was time to venture out into the world of ownership where she can combine her love of hair with her love of crafts, and opened Oddity Studio jan 2020.

She is inspired by color, texture and LIFE, and expresses her creativity through her work.

Alex’s fun laid-back personality, combined with her precise communication, sets her apart as a stylist and colorist. She has a strong belief in consultations, allowing her to tie together your personal style and every day lifestyle - her clients always comment how they get compliments between appointments (even when they’re weeks overdue!)

While you are in her chair, Alex explains what she is doing, allowing you the ability to duplicate your style at home.

When not behind the chair, you can find Alex teaching professional Goldwell Color Education courses, soaking in education herself, or involved in an assortment of home centric hobbies. if not outside in her garden, she is on the couch crocheting and "Netflixin’ it” with her FOUR Cat Children - Percy, Beatrix, Lincoln and Francis; Stepkitty - Genny; not-so-baby pup - Fenrir; and newest additions, baby pups - Baldr and björn! (Yes, she knows - she’s a crazy cat & pup lady, and wouldn’t have it any other way!)
